Type of schools

 Membership is available to three general categories of schools in France:

• Monolingual national or international schools whose medium of instruction for the entire curriculum is English
• French schools offering high level English programmes taught by qualified native speakers, offering instruction in English for more hours per week and at a higher level of competence than that of standard French instruction of English as a foreign language in the required French national curriculum
• Bilingual schools or French schools with international sections providing native to near-native standard programmes in English language/literature, history/geography, and some other subjects taught by qualified native speakers of English.
